Missions Emphasized At Crest

WILDWOOD CREST - ; Services begin Sunday at the Crest Community I Church with Sunday School at 9:45 a.m. The 11 a.m. i Lesson Topic CAPE MAY - The subject of this week's lesson at the services of the Christian Science Society 11 a.m. Sunday will be "Mortals and Immortals". The services are held weekly at the Community Center, 405 Lafayette St. All are welcome. " • I ' Christian Fellowship BURLEIGH - The Cape Christian Fellowship holds services 9:30 a.m. Sunday at the home of Pastor Chuck Woods and Kathy Woods, Shunpike and Oyster Roads. A home group meets 8 p.m. Wednesdays, and women's Bible study is held 9:30 a.m. Friday. The fellowship is a New Testament type church based on Acts 2:42. SATURDAY. May 25. there will be a "Restoration of Joy Celebration"hosted by the Fellowship at the County Park, Court House. Special guests will be Messianic Ministries, Inc., with Elihu Woolfson and the Beth Jeshua Singers. Youth with a Mission will perform a play called "Tribute". The West Cape May Assembly of God and Trinity Fellowship Assembly of God of Marmora will join with the Burleigh organization with a variety of stage performances. 'God Sees A Man' NORTH CAPE MAY - "God Sees A Man As He Really Is" is the theme of the 10:50 a.m. worship service of the Covenant Bible Church. Fishing Creek Road, according to the senior pastor, Dr. George Fincke. The service will be * broadcast over WCMC, 1230 11 a.m. until noon. The teens meet with Ray and Grace Staffens at 6 p.m. The Rev. George B. Fincke, associate pastor, will speak on "The Great Test" at the 7 p.m. service, which will be carried over WSJLFM, 102 FM. The congregation enjoys "coffee and conversation" at 8:10. WEDNESDAY at 7 p.m. the Pioneer Girls meet in the Heritage Academy, while the adults and teens meet in the church sanctuary for a Bible study of spiritual gifts led by Dr. Fincke. Friday the men meet at Ben's Restaurant on Bayshore Road for their weekly prayer breakfast. Saturday, the Heritage Christian Academy will sponsor a yard sale 9 a.m. until 4 p.m. on Fishing Creek Road, west of the church buildings. Each Sunday morning at 9:45, a family Bible school is held. The Junior and Cherub Choirs, their final performance before summer recess, will perform "We Are the World". The Adult Choir will also sing, all under the direction of Betty Van Dyke, organist. IN KEEPING with the theme of the day, a special collection will be taken at the door following the service and will be sent to "USA for Africa" to aid famine victims in Ethiopia. The Youth Group will sponsor dinner 2-8 p.m. at Johnson's Restaurant, Burk and Pacific Aves., Wildwood. Tickets may be purchased from any member of the Youth Group or at the dQor the day of the dinner.

'What Is The Hope' CAPE MAY "What Is The Hope?" will be the sermon topic of the Rev. Cass Shaw, pastor of the First Presbyterian Church of Cape May, at the 10:30 a.m. service Sunday. The service will be followed by a refreshment period and a talkback session with the pastor at 11:40a.m. Sunday School meets at 9:30 a.m. and a new program, adult seminars, will be offered at the same time for parents and friends. Bible study is held Wednesdays at .7:30 p.m. The First Presbyterian Church, the oldest church in Cape May, is at Hughes and Decatur Streets.
