Weekend Toll: 4 Dead , 4 Hurt
Four people died and another four, were injured in Middle and Dennis townships aftei i five weekend crashes, four of them on Route 657. Emerita Galendez, 61, of Vineland died in Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital, Court House, after a twovehicle crash at Routes 47 and 657, South Dennis, around 3:50 p.m. Friday, police reported. Her husband, Gabriel, one of the drivers, was listed in serious to critical condition Monday in Burdette's Critical Care Unit. The other driver, Linda Malandra, 23, of Philadelphia, was treated there and released. She was issued a traffic summons for making an improper left turn, according to police.
Later Friday afternoon, Sharon Sucholdolski. 12, of Route 657 was killed there when her bicycle was hit by a car driven by Joseph E. Rich of Court House, police reported. ARNOLD B. DENT, 28. of Woodbine was pronounced dead at the scene of a 4:10 a.m. single-vehicle crash when the car. driven by his companion, Joseph Durham, 26, of Bridgeton, struck a tree on Tyler Road, Woodbine.
