Woman Fights Off Jogger
COURT HOUSE - Middle Township police are lookng for a jogger who tried to sexually assault a local woman. 43. walking to work along Magnolia Drive May 13. "He lunged and grabbed a hold of her and tried to pull her into a wooded area," Detective Sgt. Walter Oliver, said Wednesday of the 8:15 a.m. assault. He described the assailant as a slender white male, of medium height with dark brown hair. Oliver said the attacker was wearing a gray, long-sleeve sweat jersey with dark blue jogging
pants, and sneakers. "He was running north on the railroad tracks," Oliver said, "She was walking south on Magnolia toward Court House." The petit woman was wearing a light-colored blouse, skirt and sweater, Oliver said. She saw the man jogging, but lost sight of him for awhile before the attack. \ He's wanted for attempted sexual attack, and sexual contact, Oliver added. According to the police report, the assailant, "grabbed victim, fondled her brest.

Chinnici credited a legislative subcommittee for responding to protests by Republican lawmakers concerning an attempt by Democrats to delay indefinitely two longawaited South Jersey road projects.
