Trinity Hires Head Teacher MARMORA - Trinity Nursery School announces the hiring of Karen Chambers as head teacher for the school year 1985-86. Miss Chambers is a graduate of Mainland High School in 1980 and Glass bo ro State University in 1984 with a grade average of 3.5. She is a native of Linwood, where she attended Central Methodist Church and became a member as a teenager. She was president of the Youth Fellowship and a member of the Trinity Singers, a touring youth choir. While in college, Miss Chambers spent her summers working at Tumethca Church Camp; first as camp counselor and for two years as camp director. She has been active in leading church retreats and also has been a Sunday School teacher. Cancer Telethon At $ 30,000
RIO GRANDE""- Jina! tally in the^ ninth annual telethon conducted recently for the county unit of the American Cancer Society went over $30,000, reports Angela Pulvino, telethon chairman. The chairman expressed appreciation to all those who took part in the telethon. She singled out
particulary the Wildwood Board of Education and MGM TV 40, the /performers, the volunteers who worked on the project, and area merchants for donations and prizes. She also lauded groups who held pre-telethon events to help defray production costs.
