\ Stone Harbor Gets New Complex
STONE HARBOR - Every day Stone Harbor's 96th street is filled with the sound of construction workers hammering and clamoring to finish a new restaurant, comedy nightclub and shopping complex.
Scheduled for completion by early June, the project is being directed by company spokesman Bob Blumenslein. The nightclub, Blumenstein said, will be contained in the upper level of the restaurant. He says that it is planned to have New York's top comedians entertain patrons at the new place, called Snicker's. ••I'M REALLY excited about the decor, the food and the entertainment that we'll be featuring at Snick e-r^s , ' ' said Blumenstein. Patrons will have a choice between a cruise line buffet or a breakfast, lunch and dinner menu seven days a week. - "We've even planned a selection of exotic cocktails and international coffees, Blumenstein declared. The upper level of Stone Harbor Square will feature an emporium, of gourmet fast food called Foods Above. This level will feature fresh baked cookies with expresso and capuccino, an authentic New
York style deli, a French fried foods stand, exotic Mexican food, a stuffed potato stand and barbequed chicken and ribs. HARBOR SQUARE Mall will also debut the wares of retailers like Bear Hunt, which will carry a line of collectable toy teddy bears for the young and the young at heart. There will be treats from Hillary's Ice Cream, James' Original Salt Water Taffy and TJ'S Pizza of Princeton. Harbor Square will also house Just Posters, a fine arts gallery, a-one-of-a kind craft shop, a caricature studio and the Sports Gallery. This last store will feature officially licensed team sportswear. Although most of the stores have been rented, Blumenstein says that there are still a few locations available. There will be plenty of employment opportunities for seasonal help, he says. Anyone interested in full or part-time positions at Stone Harbor Square should call Blumenstein at 368-6207 or 967-5620.
