"1 Units Hold Meeting *AVAkpN — Six emergen^ cy service groups, whose goals are to save human lives and preserve property, will be featured at an open meeting 8 o'clock this evening in the Avalon Community Hall. 30th Street and the beach. Representatives from the Avalon Fire. Police and Public Works Departments. Emergency Management Team. Rescue Squad and Borough Administration will discuss their functions and answer any questions the public may have. "We need input from our citizens so we may serve them in the best possible way." T. Griffith Sloan, coordinator for Avalon Emergency Management, which is sponsoring the meeting, said.
