Agents Set 10 Courses

HIGHLAND PARK - Courses on self development. sales techniques and management skills and other subjects will be offered in a summer school program sponsored by the Independent Insurance Agents of New Jersey ( 1 1 A/NJ ) . The program kicks off today with "Client Responsive Selling", and concludes with "Business " Writing on a Computer" beginning Sept. 17. COURSES ARE designed to help the insurance agents and their staff increase their knowledge of the field and improve their

effectiveness within it. Among the 10 courses offered are Basic Training to New Employees. Tax Reductions. Managing Yourself and Others, and Mergers and Aquisitions. Courses will be held in a variety of locations throughout New Jersey. Council Sets Special Meet AVALON — Resolutions authorizing preparation of bids on a public radio system and amending the 1985 capital budget will be acted on at a special meeting of Borough Coun cil at 9 30 a . m tomorrow in the Borough Hall council meeting room. A bond or dinance to raise funds to pay for various improvements will be introduced at the meeting Ostomy Meet RIO GRANDE - The Cape May County Ostomy Association will hold a meeting 8 p.m. Tuesday. June 11, in the conference room of the Social Services Building Routes 9 & 47 here The speaker for the June meeting will be James McCarty, A.A.L.L. Medical Supplies. SWAINTON - The Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority will hold an open house on June 8, from 3:30 to 5:30 p.m. at its solid waste transfer station in Middle Township. MUA Solid Waste Manager Theodore O'Neill said, "The open house will allow us the opportunity to meet with our neighbors, answer any questions they may have, and explore any problems."
