Pre -school play and craft* and mother * exercise, age* 1-5. Provides children with an opportunity to meet other pre-school children while being involved with basic art and fun projects. Mothers will be provided with exercise classes in • the gym. Tuesday and Thursday, 9 to 11 a.m., beginning June 18. Atlantic Gymnastic, Inc. will provide a preschool physical education program for boys and girls who are residents of Lower Township at the Recreation Center at 2600 Bayshore Road in the Villas, starting June 17, 1985. This program is for children from two (2) years to six (6) years old. Children 3-1/2 and under must be accompanied by their parents. This program will include movement awareness, socialization, rhythem and hasic gymnastics skills at higher class levels. This will be a ten |10f week course. There will be a fee and pre- registration is a must. For information call the Rec. Center at 886-7880 between the hours of 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. The days for this program will be Monday or Wednesday, from 9-12 Noon. Time and day will be determined according to age. Class size will be limited on a first come first serve basis. Roller skating - Ages five - 13 This program will be in the parking lot at the Recreation Center. You have to bring your own skates. Music and supervision will be provided. Every Monday from 6 - 7:30 p.m. starting Monday, June 17. Registration is required. Teen night - Ages 13 - 18 Provides teenagers an opportunity to get involved with constructive programming. Recreational activities include live music, featuring Final Destiny: tournaments in pool, air' hockey, ping pong, basketball, volleyball, table games, break dancing contest etc. Program will be held Friday nights from 6 to 9' p.m. Womena exercise - 18 years and older , Exercise classes put to music for a fun way to tone up your body. Classes will be Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to II a.m., and Thursday night 6:30 to 8:30 p.m. Co-ed exercise - 18 and older Provides men and women a fun way to get into shape again. Exercise to music and meet people. Monday, 6:30 to 8:00 p.m. Weight-Lifting Classes - 18 and older Provides men and women an opportunity to tone up up their bodies by being instructed on various trchnimie* of weight lifting. Classes will be Monday and Wednesday 6:30 - 8:30 p.m. Adult Arts and Crafts • Ongoing Provides an opportunity to learn all phases of needlepoint, crocheting, knitting and small ceramic activities. Gives them an opportunity to meet other people. Classes are Wednesday and Friday 10 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Recreation Centers. Senior Exercise Come join our ongoing program and get the bodies back in shape. Tuesday and Thursday from 9 to 11 a.m.

Chess Club - Meets every Thursday from 7 - 10 p.m. Biking Club is now forming for the summer. Jogging Club is now forming for the summer. If anyone is interesting in joining these clubs or starting another club, please call the Recreation Center at 886-7880. TV

There will be a concert coming to the Lower / Township Recreation Center for all members of the family. The time and date will be announced . later. For more information call the Rec. Center at f 886-7880. V TEEN NIGHT AT THE POOL ^ Boys and girls 13 to 18 come have fun at the community pool in North Cape May. Music will be pro- i vided and various tournaments will be held. A fee will be charged at the door. This event will take place Aujf. 10. 6:30 to 9 p.m. Come join the i Swimming lessons will be taught for children in three different categories: Beginners, Advanced I Beginner* and Intermediate. Boys and girls in this program must be five _ years old before June 1. Pre registration is required. A fee will be charged for both the July ses- / sion and the August session. ' Open Swim from noon - 5 p.m.. Tuesday thru Sunday. Admission charge at the door. The Lower . Township Community Pool is located on Winslow / Avenue in North Cape May. V i^l The Lower Township Tee Ball League is open to all residents between the ages of six to nine years. Boys and girls are eligible to play in this league. They must be six-years-old before May 1. Proof of age must be brought to the sign-up*. If you played last year you must sign-up again. The center is located at Miami Avenue and Bayshore Road in the Villas, and is open six days a week from 8:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. and 7 to 10:30 p.m. The center offers various programs for our senior citizens. There are arts and crafts, card clubs, nutrition programs, dance classes and group activities. The Center provides kitchen facilities and a large meeting room for use. If any non-profit organization in Lower Township would like to use this facility, call 886-5552 for information on obtaining a reservation. yj
