Here's Dolly By Dolly Stango

The Mayor's Advisory Committee had its last session and will resume come September. Mayor Arthur Blomkvest, presiding over the meeting, thanked the members for their cooperation and diligence concerning community matters. Chairperson, Dolly Stango. echoed the mayor's feelings of dedication. LOOKING FOR a restroom? Cape May Library has facilities and are available for public use during library hours. City's restrooms originally situated on Ocean Street, across from the Mall will be put back, says Mayor Blomkvest. Coin-operated showers will be available for public use on Steger and Philadelphia beaches very soon — amount to be deposited in slots will be very small, but just enough to keep the faucets from running when not in use as heretofore. Don't forget, there's still time to rent space for your booth for the up-coming Victorian Fair at the Physick Estate right on the grounds Saturday. For your reservation it's 884-4023 or 884-8889. THE CAPE MAY County Art League, housed in the Carriage House at the Physick Estate, 1050 Washington St., Cape May, is having its annual House Tour of old homes Friday and Saturday, June 28 and 29. For more information call the league at 884-8628. June 1 through 30 the league will be featuring Peter M. Craig i«'s "Assemblages and Paintings" — a display of . sculptural works both man made and natural "found objects" and also paintings of a more traditional art form. JAMIE FIOCCA, Cape May's very own, who is only 13 and hospitalized at Children's Hospital in Philadelphia because of acute leukemia, is still fighting for his life. Right now hie s stable with so many "rough" days inbetween but he wants to be remembered to all his wellwishers who are still praying terribly hard for him. HERE ARE some more who have sent donations: Saint John of God, CYO Basketball Team (sent their receipts from their banquet!) Jersey Cape Medical Association, Court House, Mr. and Mrs. Harry Mogck Sr., Cape May Chapter 156, Order of the Eastern Star, American Legion Po6t 193, Ed's Texaco Station, Wildwood, Monsignor Maroney General Assembly, Knights of Columbus Fourth Degree, Erma; Cape Island Lodge 30, F and AM, Cape May; Woodrow Wilson Democratic Club, and Caroline and Lloyd Ogden. May Procession by Star of the Sea students was indeed a memorable affair. May queen was Donna Lathbury, with attendants Kathy Marcy and Tracy Troiaaa. First Communicants wore their white veils and beautiful dresses all so angelic and only Tor 8 years old. The very young

boys in their "Sunday best" walked up the church aisle with the little ladies, each carrying a daisy to place on the altar. The lectors were Christy Cummiskey and brother, Robert — from the fifth grade no less! Leader of song was Kim Wark — all in all the Children's Mass

with the procession was one of the finest I've ever seen and plaudits go to not only the children but to Sister June Weldon principal, and her staff. It's new. It's the Tofutti Bar at Our Daily Bread health store on the

Washington Mall. Tofutti comes either in a cone or dish and is a hi-protein nondairy soft serve dessert made from soy and only 130 calories per serving. Will Garfohl, owner of the establishment, says he's been serving the Tofutti only one week and already he's been sold out
