Grant Given To Mental Health Unit COURT HOUSE - The Mental Health Family Support Group of Cape May County was recently awarded a mini-grant' by the New Jersey Self-Help Clearinghouse, it was announced by Mrs. Arline DeVaul. The award will be used for printing and distribution of brochures describing the support group. This will help make the public aware of the existence of a support group of this nature in the county. The group meets the first and third Tuesdays of each ■ s month at 7 p.m. at the First Baptist Church, 101 S. Main St. here. Further information can be obtained by calling 465-4100. Neutering Program Adds Vets COURT HOUSE -Mayor Michael Voll has announced the addition of Cape Veterinary Hospital, Dr. Edward Morrison and Dr. George Belloff as participants in Middle Township's program for the neutering and spaying of cats. The services of the Animal Welfare will still be available. The purpose of this program is to help control the cat population by assisting cat owners who cannot afford to have their pets neutered or spayed sterilized). The cost involved for the neutering of a male cat is $10 and $15 for the spaying of a female cat. To be eligible for this program the animal owner must have a restricted income, be able to furnish proof of residency in Middle Township and have a healthy cat. For more information ' about this program contact Kathy Meers of Middle J Township at 465-2325. Academy's Awards Day COURT HOUSE -Ocean Academy is holding Awards and Arts Day 10:15 to 11:30 today. Upperclass graduates were to receive awards and student art work was to be displayed. Advanced music students were to play selected numbers and the Ocean Academy Sign Language Club was to present a unique rendition of "We are the World, We are the Children". Aux.
