A MELANIE RUPPEL Promotion At Marine WILDWOOD - The promotion of Melanie Ruppel to assistant vice president was announced by Philip W. Koebig III, president and chief executive officer of Marine National Bank. Ruppel will manage the bank's Court House office. Her responsibilities include business development in the Court House area and daily • operation of the office. Ruppel joined Marine as a • teller in 1977 and was proy moted to assistant manager of the Wildwood office in 1979. In October. 1981, she was promoted to manager of the North Cape May office. Ruppel is a graduate of Queen of Peace High School and of several American Institute of Banking courses. She is secretary of the Southern Shores Chapter of the National Association of Bank Women. Marine National Bank has 14 offices in Atlantic, Cape May, and Ocean Counties and will open several more offices in Ocean and Atlantic Counties in 1985. Contracts For Cape Center MAYS LANDING - Two contracts for furnishing and equipping the college's newly established Cape May Extension Center in Rio Grande were awarded recently by the trustees of Atlantic Community College. A (41,568.17 contract was awarded Brenner Business Interiors for equipment to furnish the center Another, for $40,533.60, went to Prodigy Computer Center for personal computers for the center. The trustees also approved a base salary increase of eight percent for ACC's union-exempt employees, effective July 1, and reaffirmed the past practice of mandatoiy teacher retirement at the end of the semester in which the faculty member reaches age 70.
