Guard Pays Auxiliarist Honor

CAPE MAY - James Ristine, a member of the Coast Guard Auxiliary and commander of Auxiliary Flotilla 08-06, Avalon, was honored recently by Coast Guard Station Cape May for service to the station October 1984. through May. During this time Ristine spent one and frequently two days a week manning the communications watch at the unit. CONTINUING to supple ment Station Cape May's work force are Daniel Beall, a member of Auxiliary Flotilla 08-03, Wildwood. and Gordon Lusky, another member of Flotilla 08-06. Beall spends two days a week at the station and in addition to communications responsibilities, oversees the inspections of private aids to navigation. Lusky is on the radios one day a week. On weekends, all three men might be found involved in other auxiliary funeNEW POST — Thomas Macklin of Stone Harbor has been named student loan officer by Sturdy Savings and I.oan Association. In addition to handling loans. Macklin is also a data processing coordinator in charge of car loans and properv improvement loans. He works in the main office.
