Herr Joins S.J. Gas Co. FOLSOM - Sheila Herr of Margate joined South Jersey Gas Co. recently, it was announced by William F. Ryan, company president. In her position as technician, management systems. Herr will be responsible for assisting in corporate microprocessor office automation and providing technical support to various departments in their personal computer activities. Prior to joining SJG, Herr worked as a systems control manager for Foussard/Econ Lab Management Services. She has a bachelor's degree in Computer Science from Stockton College. Honor Goes To Vanmeter WESTCHESTER. PA. - Jonathan Vanmeter of Court House, a senior at West Chester University here, was recently named to the list of Who's Who among Students in American Universities and Colleges for 1984-85. Vanmeter is a speech communications major, a member of the communication club (president in 1984-85). and WCUR, the campus radio station. Wildwood Women Take Top Honors

The Evening Membership of the Wildwood Civic Club < received top honors at the ninety-first annual convention of the New Jersey State Federation of Womens Clubs, held at Americana Great Gorge Resort. McAfee, May 14-17. Janet Calloway as chairman. accepted on behalf of the EMD membership a silver bowl awarded as first place Community Service Award, and a second silver bowl for the Best All-Around Community Service Award. Bf These awards were received J by EMD for providing the kj largest amount of money and a volunteer hours in their com - * munity in the state I Recent projects of the Wildwood EMD include Holy Redeemer Hospice program, food, clothing, medicines, for ■ those in need within the comI munity; Halloween Fun Fair ■ in Wilawood; SWIM program ™ donation for parallel bars and protective wheelchair ■d enclosure; Ocean Academy 't donation for teaching pupo pets, handicaped tricycles, t- toddler stairs, corner chairs, * and standing boards, dona- £ tions to the city of Wildwood for parks beautification.

Members served as judges at the Wildwood Easter Parade and Baby Parade; participated in the planning of the 75th anniversary of Wildwood Crest , took part in the Red Cross Operation Fireside; gave time and gifts to the ARC group home in Erma; and made donations of homemade cookies to the Woodbine Developmental Center. A total of 1.170 volunteer service hours have been accomplished by members of the Wildwood Civic Club. Evening Membership Department during the 1984-85 year.
