CAPE MAY - June Willis, soprano, will be guest performer at the season's opening presenta-
! tion of the summer mini- ' concert series at the First t Presbyterian Church of Cape May, Hughes and Decatur Streets, 4 p.m. Tuesday, July 2. Willis started singing at the age of 10 in the church choir and then on to studying privately and at Curtis Institute of Music. She has
sung with the Philadelphia t Opera Co., and the f Philadelphia Orchestra 1 and has appeared in musical comedy as well as on radio and television, t The public is welcome, l admission is free and dress is casual. The mini-concert » series is the congregation's > gift to visitors and residents of Cape May providing an opportunity to enjoy the music and the stained glass windows in the afternoon.

On 'Prayer Fasting' GREEN CREEK - Pastor Joseph Muggleworth will preach on "Prayer and Fasting for a Nation" and special music centering on the Independence Day theme will be rendered at the 11 a.m. Sunday worship service of the Green Creek Community Church, Delsea Drive. Cantata For Sunday RIO GRANDE - Mill Wilson, pastor of Grace Gospel Chapel, Shore Road will speak at the 11 a.m. and 7 p.m. services this Sunday. The chapel choir will present a small patriotic cantata at the morning worship service. Children's Church is also at 11 a.m. for boys and girls 5 to 9. Sunday School is at 9:45 a.m. with classes for all ages Prayer meeting and youth groups are 7 p.m. Wednesday.
Holy Trinity Lutheran WILDWOOD - This Sunday, the fifth after Pentecost, services at Holy Trinity Lutheran Church will be at 10:15 with Holy Communion celebrated. Rev. Gary Mann's Sermon is entitled "The Calming One." All are invited next door following the service for coffee, cake and fellowship. Wednesdays at 9 a.m. the Service of the Word of Healing is held with a Bible study following the service. The next church fellowship night will be Friday evening. July 12 at 7 p.m. The event will be a Christmas in July celebration, carols, decorate the tree, exchange of gifts and a visit from Santa. For more information call 522-5000. Tchaikovsky Highlighted CAPE MAY — A celebration in July is offered by the fifth session of MUSIC HIGHLIGHTS 1:30 p.m. Thursday, July 11, at the Case Island Baptist Church, Columbia Avenue and Guerney Street. Rose Haering will review the life and works of the Russian composer Peter I. Tchaikovsky, and will perform excerpts from "The Nutcracker Suite". On the second Thursday of every month at 1:30 p.m., a different composer will be presented. Seminar Theme Is Freedom CAPE MAY — Beacon Conferences will sponsor a week-long seminar entitled "Human Freedom and Responsibility" Saturday through July 5 at the Christian Admiral. Featured speakers are Beacon Conferences' Norris Clark, director of sales and marketing, and Curtis Bashaw, director of finance and development. The public is invited to attend the meetings at no charge. The opening session will be held 8 p.m. Saturday. Sunday meetings are at 11 a.m. and 7:30 p.m. Evening sessions begin at 8 Monday - Friday (excluding Thursday ) . The seminar is being held in the Christian Admiral's Reformation Hall. Christian Science CAPE MAY — Sunday morning services are held 11 o'clock in the Community Center, 405 Lafayette St., by the Christian Science Society of Cape May. The subject of this week's lesson will be "Christian Science". Wednesday evening testimonial services will be held at 8 o'clock during July and August.
