Pipe Band Scheduled

COLD SPRING - Historic Cold Spring Village has an exciting lineup of events planned for the weekend of July 4 through the 7. The Armadale Pipe Band of Vineland will perform tomorrow with shows at 12:30 and 2 p.m. A non-profit organization, the Armadale Pipers donate a portion of their earnings to the restoration of Armadale Castle in Scotland. Friday. July 5, Mike Miller will entertain with his folk songs and stories on the front porch of the Country Store. THE HOFFNAGLE Band will be strolling about the Village Saturday for an afternoon of musical entertainment. The weekend will conclude with the return of the Bayshore

Squares and Jim Hendrix Sunday. July 7, for an afternoon of square dancing. Historic Cold Spring Village is a collection of restored buildings set on 35 wooded acres. The village offers a wide range "of crafts such as a weaver, folk artist, tinsmith and blacksmith as well as the Country Store, ice cream parlor and bakery. The village is open daily at 10 a.m. until September and admission is $1 for a season pass. Next week's menu of meals served by the Cape May County Nutritional Project tor the Elderly July 8: Breaded chicken cutlet, catsup, green beans, pickled beet salad, apricot halves, chocolate chip cookie. July 9: Spaghetti/tomato sauce, meat balls, Parmesan cheese, tossed salad/creamy Italian dressing, fruit cocktail. July 10: Meat loaf w/brown gravy, baked stuffed potato, carrots, apple. corn muffin. July 11: Fish fillet. Tartar sauce/catsup, potatoes au gratin. mixed vegetables, tapioca pudding. July 12: Beef stew, peas/carrots boiled potato, applesauce cake. Each meal is accompanied by bread, margarine, coffee, tea, or milk. Snacks, delivered with mobile meals to the homebound, are: July 8: Beef pot pie, apple. milk. July 9: Roast beef sandwich, mustard, nectarine, milk July 10: Hard boiled eggs, tomato/lettuce, crackers, mayonnaise, pear. milk. July 11: American cheese sandwich/mayonnaise, sliced peaches, milk.
