Mansion | Tours by Gaslight CAPE MAY - Mansions by Gaslight Tours will open four of the city's Victorian landmarks to the general public every Wednesday evening in July. These tours will be held 8 to 10 p.m. Sponsored by the MidAtlantic Center for the Arts (MAC), the tours offer a rare insight into Victorian lifestyles. In each ho-.se. guides point out the original furnishings on display. Tickets for the Mansions By Gaslight Tours may be purchased at the Emlen Physick House. 1048 Washington St.. starting one half hour before tour time. In order to help tourgoers get from one house to another, MAC's trolley-bus will run on a continuous transit loop. HOUSES OPEN on the Mansions By Gaslight Towinclude: The Emlen Physick House ( 1048 Washington St.). designed by famous architect Frank Fumess, is a Victorian House Museum. It is the headquarters of the MidAtlantic Center for the Arts. The Abbey (Columbia Avenue and Gurney Street), built in 1869 for a Pennsylvania coal baron, is an outstanding example of Gothic Revival H I Architect we. (I THE MAINSTAY Inn I (635 Columbia Ave.) was built in 1872 as a posh ^ gentlemen's gambling - club. It is a classic example ^ of the Italianate Style. v; The Wilbraham Mansion | ( 133 Myrtle Ave. ) began as a simple country farmhouse built in 1840. It was expanded and Victorianiz--|-ed in 1900. Its many rooms aire filled with Victorian furnishings. Wine Fete Opens Exhibit STONE HARBOR - William Ris Galleries, Second Avenue at 94th Street, will celebrate a showing of watercolors by Pearl Slobodian with a champagne reception on Friday, from 7 to 9:30 p.m. The exhibit of the artist's work will continue at the galleries through July 24.
