CAPE MAY - The Coast Guard Bears and Charlie's Place continued their winning ways in the city's American Softball League this past week. The Bears defeated Eckel's Diesel 21-2, AH Medical Supply 18-3 and Southern Jersey Airways 15-5. Charlie's Place won its three games, defeating T.M.U. 1(H). The Press 13-8 and the Cape May Coasties 17-2. Cape Radiology moved into playoff contention as it won all three of its games this week. It defeated the Chief Petty Officers 15-5 as Frank Finley had four hits while Wayne Plocher had a home run and Steve Weems had a triple and four runs batted in.
