Volunteers Wooed by Hospital I COURT HOUSE - Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital is offering Cape May County residents and visitors a way to explore the varied opportunities for volunteering at the hospital. Volunteer services director Bettie Crilly. and auxiliary president. Peggy Borkland. will head the program 1-3 p.m. July 10. A tour of the hospital, refreshments, and a social hour will be included in the orientation. Men and women of all ages are encouraged to attend. Short term as well as long term commitments will be discussed. "NEEDS ARE especially great at this time of year," according to Mrs. Crilly. She reports that every effort is made to fit volunteer assignments to the schedules and interests of the individuals involved. Help is needed both with direct patient contact and assisting health care professional behind the scenes.
