COURT HOUSE - The Court House Neighborhood Association is sponsoring a clam bake and corn roast at the County Park here 3 to 7 p.m . Sunday, July 28. Larry FeLrari, TV personality. will entertain at the park bandstand. Tickets may be obtained by calling 465-3963 or 465-4977. They may also be purchased from association members. The clam bake will be held at Pavillion 7. TIIE ASSOCIATION is engaged in litigation with Hospicomm concerning the placement of a septic system (equivalent to 62 single family homes) in swampy land adjacent to Crooked Creek which the Association fears will pollute the creek and prov i d e the adjacent neighborhood with a health hazard.

The association's lawyer. Nathan Edelstein, will commence trial proceedings July 29 and has requested a stay for continued building on the site. Members of the Association are interested in historical preservation, neighborhood events, and in having their interests heard in the public sector on issues relevant to their health and welfare. The association came into being in protest over the septic system at thfe nursing home OTHER TOPICS of interest raised at the meeting on the second Tuesday of the month at the Methodist Hall, were the problems of the people in the Cynwood / Idle wood subdivision. A survey of 21 homes indicated one third of all septic systems had failed, and that the neighbors were concerned about the failure of developer Jake Wright to [ complete the drainage t ditch -required by CAFRA. I Two new building lots were 8 given the O.K. by the 0 health department and by 8 CAFyRA for additional B construction. Permission for 10 new 'i uniLs was given by CAFRA j' and two are cleared with V the local building inspec- l\ tor.
