Variety At Loft Gallery
CAPE MAY - The Cape May County Art League presents a variety of art forms. The W. Norstrom Loft Gallery features Mary Federici, a freelance commercial artist who loves the fine arts and works with watercolors, pastels, oils and batiks. She has had numerous exhibits and will be displaying her works at the Gallery 50 in Bridgeton for the month of August and the Ocean City Arts Center for September. MS. FEDERICI recently won a purchase prize at the Camden Whitman Arts Center and a prize at the Miniature Show at the Gallery 50. The Carriage House Gallery features water- | colors by Ann Vasilik and
T. M. Warchal. sculptor. Ms. Vasilik's paintings are done almost exclusively on location and the themes are as varied as landscapes, still-life, circus subjects, dolls, seascapes and interiors. Rea Opens P.M. Cafe CAPE MAY - Barbara Rea, local song stylist, will be featured at the reopening of the P.M. Cafe - Coffeehouse here Saturday. Rea. who performs material from Joan Baez, Joni Mitchell, Simon and Garfunkel and others, was a favorite at last summer's cafe. Also featured will be Sue Kane, a performing arts major at Stockton State College who plays original music in the Folk/Blues tradition. The P.M. Cafe, held at the Cape May County Art League. 1050 Washington St., is looking for acts for future dates. The Cafe is held the third Saturday of each month. Coffee, tea and snacks will be served.
