Politically and philan- | thropically active on behalf | of the State of Isreal, the couple will attend briefings i on Mideast affairs and visit scientific and medical facilities. Dr. Beitman, an internist and digestive specialist, will be consulting on cases of severe digestive diseases experienced by many of the new Ethiopian immigrants to Israel. His "Health Watch" column appears in this newspaper weekly. Mrs. Beitman is executive director of the Jewish Federation in Cumberland County.
