Reading Club Adds Magic to Summer

COURT HOUSE - A bit of magic in Midsummer can be found at the Cape May County Library these days as the summer Reading Club moves into full swing. Knights, knights, dragons, princesses and castles are the weekly themes for stories, songs, jokes, booktalks. puppet shows, and crafts. At 10:30 a.m. the programs can be found on Tuesday at the Lower Cape Branch in the Villas; Wednesday at the Sea Isle City Library; Thursdays at the Main Library here, and Fridays at both Stone Harbor and Avalon Public Libraries. EACH PROGRAM lasts from 45 to 60 minutes and is free and open to all with no pre-registration required. To go along with the program the library has scheduled a series of films at the Main Library 7 p.m. Tuesday On July 30, The Magic Sword . Aug. 6. /vanhoe. Aug 13 The Story of Robin Hood Admission is free, and the whole family is encouraged to attend. Parents are asked to bring their children to the reading club programs, to read at least two books to

m their children over the sum1 mer and to be seen reading themselves, as this gives younger children the impetus to imitate their parents. Look forward to the announcement of the party and special entertainment which wrap the reading club in August.
