i Crowning Of Queen

WILDWOOD CREST - Queen Oceania for 1985 will be crowned tomorrow evening at the Wildwood _ Crest Memorial School. IThe pageant will begin 7:30 p.m., with all girls enrolled in the current seventh, eighth or ninth grades in the local schools eligible to participate. IN CELEBRATION of the 75th Anniversary of the parade, a Diamond Jubilee Queen will also be crowned that night. She must be 75 years of age or older and a resident of the Wildwoods. AH contestants will appear in long evening gowns and will be judged on beauty, charm, poise and personality. Featured will be Joyce Reed, who will give some of her dramatic readings. The members of royalty will also be entertained with numbers performed by the Dancers Two Co.

The pageant is sponsored 1 by the Greater Wildwood ' Chamber of Commerce and 1 is under the direction of Mrs. Dorothy Noss and the > Wildwood Civic Club. > Anyone interested in participating can contact Mrs. i Noss at 729-0671 or the ■ Greater Wildwood Chamber of Commerce at 729-4000. Proceeds from the event I are 'earmarked for the I organization's continuing I Food For Poland program.
