I Festival . Run Set AVALON - The Wetlands Institute will sponsor a Wings n Water Five-mile Festival Run Sept. 21. to start and finish at the Avalon Community Hall. 30th Stret and Avalon Avenue. The race will begin 8:30 a.m. and T-shirts will go to the first 200 participants. Trophies will be awarded for first, second and third for men and women in six categories for each, rang ing from 14 and under to 50 and over. Preregistration will take place until Sept. 20 at the Avalon Community Hall For information, call 967-8200.

CAPE MAY - Law's Printing won all four of their I games this past week to move into a tie for first place in Cape May Men's I National Softball League. In | their 9-2 victory over Doc's I Custard. Kevin Sherman drove in four runs with two home runs and two doubles while John Vogel and Ernie Troiano had three hits and two hits respectively In a battle of first place teams. Law 's Printing defeated Burke Builders 11-7 as John Vogel led the offense with four hits and four RBI's. Law's got three-hit performances from Brendon Rosenberg. John Fuller. Sherman and Troiano. SHERMAN LED the way in Law's Printing 23-4 win over Doc's Custard as he had four hits, including a Rome run and drove in six runs Mike Moore chipped in with three hits, while Carl I'mscheid and Will Mendo each had two hits and four RBI's.
