Art Collectors' Lottery Is Aug. 24
CAPE MAY - The Cape May Company Art League is sponsoring the "Art Collectors' Lottery" Aug. 24. Donated works by invited artists will be on display and available for selection. David Gill, watercolor artist and contributing artist, won first Prize in the 1985 Boardwalk Art Show. Some of the other artists are: Ginny Masters, Catherine Monahan, Dorothy Truman-Repman, Bill Bell, Bruce Bitter, Margaret Bailey. Peter Craigie, Inez Fol Krupinski, Craig Mock, Joan Gallop and Helen Clark Dilday. THIS IS how the lottery works: each patron receives, for a $50 donation. a numbered lotteryticket. Winning is a certainty. The number of lottery tickets sold equals the number of works of art. The drawing is such that
the first ticket holder to be called makes a selection, the second number called chooses one and so forth. The person lucky enough to make the first selection/ has the widest range from which to choose. The Art League will have all the art works on display in the Carriage House Gallery two weeks before , the lottery date. For more information about the lottery and purchase of tickets call 884-8628 or write the Art League P. O. Box 596, Cape May NJ 08204.
