Baroque Concert CAPE MAY - Philomel, a baroque music ensemble from Philadelphia, will perform at the Chalfonte Hotel Tuesday, Aug. 6, as part of the hotel's Concert by Candlelight series. Currently in its tenth season, Philomel offers baroque chamber music on original instruments such as the harpsichord, recorders, violins, baroque flutes, viola da gamba, and lute. Philomel concerts feature traditional, familiar pieces, as well as some unique, welcome surprises. Reservations are required for a dinner/concert package and are requested for the concert.
