STONE HARBOR - The Lions Club Little League finished its third week of action with the Aces and Wildcats posting strong victories. setting the state for this week's showdown between the two. The Aces needed strong starting pitching by Steve Wunder and excellent relief pitching by Chris Daily to capture wins over the Panthers and Eagles. Wunder helped himself in the fifth inning of the first game by roNuggets, Sixers On Top STONE HARBOR - The Senior Boys Basketball League had the76'ers and Nuggets move further away from the rest of the league. The Nuggets, led by Pat Bastian. Dan Devris, and Dave Comerford. stayed in first by earning a spilt in beating the Sixers for the first place position before losing to the Lakers. The Sixers, led by Rich Murphy. Scan Sweeney, and Rob Hicks, walked over the league's opposition until the Nuggets matchup The game was not a pretty style of play: however the Nuggets liked the outcome. 37-31.
