Steering Report Awaited COURT HOUSE - The Governor's Management Improvement Program for Local Governments is in its final stages of development for Middle Township. The program is designed in the short term to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Middle Township's service delivery system and in the long term to help identify the level of government best suited to handle service delivery for each program. OVER HALF of the township employes were recently interviewed by the Middle Township Municipal Management Team. As a result of those interviews, 83 recommendations were presented to a steering committee made up of local business and professional representatives from Middle Township. They are acting in an advisory capacity to the local elected officials. The steering committee is made up of the following : Raymond Burke Jr of Burke Motor Sales, chairman; Celeste George, manager. First Jersey National Bank/South, Robert Rixey. real estae agent; Steven Sperlak, marine insurance investigator; and Wilson Rea. former employe for the Bell Telephone Co.
