John McHugh. teacher Tax Slice For Vets, Spouses COURT HOUSE - Recently enacted legislation provides that senior citizens, disabled persons, and their surviving spouses entitled to a $250 property tax deduction may also receive an additional $50 deduction, points out G.R. Brown III. county tax administrator. The extra $50 deduction is available to veterans and surviving spouses of veterans and service persons Those who are eligible for the deduction should contact the collector of their taxing district for claim forms and additional information, says Brown, warning that claim forms must be submitted prior to Dec. 31 this year to qualify for the 1985 tax year

Gospel Seminar
WILDWOOD CREST — the Crest Community Church will hold its "Gospel in Modern Times" Summer Seminar at 7:15 p.m., tomorrow in the Social Hall. Services begin Sunday at 9:45 with Sunday School. On the first Sunday of every month, students are requested to bring a nonperishable food item to place at the altar during Devotions. The goods are used to stock the missions food bank. COMMUNION service with the Rev. Charles L. Rowe is at 11 a.m. The anthem will be sung by the Adult Choir under the direction of Bette Van Dyke, organist. A nursery is available for children up to 5 years old. Children in first through third grades are invited to visit the "Time Machine" during the worship hour. Sunday there will be Summerfest celebration at 6 p.m. in the Social Hall followed by a fellowship supper. Meat will be provided; participants are asked to bring a covered dish. All members and
friends of the church- are invited. Vacation Bible School, with the theme "Discover God's Love on Sonrise Island," will be held the week of Aug. 12-16. There will be classes for children in kindergarten through high school. Registration is Saturday, Aug. 10 from 10 a.m. to noon.
