Warner Amex Aid For MDA AVALON — Warner Amex Cable Communications Inc of New Jersey has announced that it will again be a local sponsor of the annual Nfuscular Dislrophy Association fund-raising drive Carman Scarpa, general manger of the Warner Amex cable system, said the company will again donate $3 for every newcable installation or. service upgrade over the next six weeks. This will be the second year that Warner Amex Cable will participate in the MDA campaign as a national sponsor. Last' year. Warner Amex donated more than $250,000 nationally to MDA to fight neuromuscular diseases Scarpa said the company's goal this year is to equal or surpass that donation. "I'M REALLY proud of our 1984 effort." said Scarpa, "but we're going to tryeven harder this year, with the help of our local MDA office in Cherry Hill." Scarpa said that in addition to the special installation offer during the MDA drive. Warner Amex will distribute donation canisters to stores and businesses throughout the cable system.
