Alec R. Anderson. 60, of North Cape May. July 29. He was employed by Wheaton Plastic Containers in Mays Landing and formerly was a machinist for the N & N General Machine Co., Inc. in Wildwood. He was a member of the VFW Town Bank Post 3725, and the Town Bank Volunteer Fire CO. Walter Boerner, 63, of Woodbine, July 30. Born in Hamilton Township, he spent most of his life in Woodbine. Adele F. Cox. 73. of Cape May, August 2. A lifelong resident of the area, she was a private duty registered nurse for many years and belonged to the Presbyterian Church of Cape May. She was a member of the Order of the Eastern Star, Chapter 156, of Cape May. Lewis II. Cresse, 83, of Erma, July 30. Descendant of one of Cape May County's original families dating back to 1692, he was an officer in the Cape Colony Chapter of the Mayflower Society. He was retired from the Delaware River Port Authority and operated an auto electrical repair shop. N'orman W. Gardner. 60, of Erma. August 3. A lifelong resident, he was a Marine veteran of World War II and a retired rotary kiln fireman for the Harbison Walker Refractories.
He was a Mayflower descendant of the Whillden family and scoutmaster of Troop 88. Kenneth. Aage Holmstrup. 64, former County Freeholder Director, of Cold Spring, July 31. A retired construction coordinator for the Cape May County Municipal Utilities Authority, he was a director of the Sturdy Savings and Loan Association. He formerly owned an ornamental iron works and antique shop. He resided in the area for 33 years. Harry Jones, 60, of Cape May, July 29. Born in Acamac County, Va., he lived in Cape May for 30 years. Robert R. Koob, 61, of Sea Isle City, July 29. A supervisor on the Garden State Parkway, he was a member of the Ocean City VFW, and local 193 of the Toll Supervisors Association. He formerly lived in Marmora. Charles R. Myers. 75, of North Cape May, July 29. a retired perchasing agent for the Budd manufacturing -company of Philadelphia, he was a '' local resident for 13 years. Francis J. Needling, 73, of Villas. August 1. A selfemployed paper hanger and painter, he was a social member of the Charles "Buddy" Lewis VFW Post 5343. Formerly, of Norristown. Pa., he was a local resident for 14 years.
Doris Penketham, 62, of Erma, July 31. A nutritionist for the Philadelphia Dairy Council for 12 yearsVJ she taught in the Ridley. Pa. school district before retirement. Shq summered in the area for 27 years before moving here three years ago. Elizabeth I. Riley. 73, of Erma, July 30 in East Detroit. Mich. A lifelong resident of Cape May County, she was retired from the Cape May Canners of Burleigh. Maxwell C. Swank. 60, of Ocean City, August 1. A former police officer, he was a carpenter for the city of Ocean City. He was a member of the Ocean City VFW and the Trinity United Methodist Church, Marmora. Florence Wallace, 64, of Ocean City, July 30. She was born in Millville and spent her life in this area Michael Zdanowicz, 92. of Rio Grande, August 2. Bom in Poland, he lived in Philadelphia for many years where he worked as a boiler maker. He was a i local resident for seven years.
