Avalon Winners In Bell Memorial

AVALON — Winners in the Avalon Beach Patrol's 11th annual General E.V.H Bell Memorial Race held here July 29 have practically guaranteed their positions on the team that will represent the borough in the next Jersey Shore beach patrol races. Only a series of "rowoffs" schedule in Avalon during the next few weeks could jeopardize the E.V.H. Bell Memorial winners' positions. Men's Doubles Tourney Set STONE HARBOR - The recreation department is sponsoring a Men's Doubles Tennis Tournament Saturday. All entries are due at noon Friday at the 82nd Street office. Charlie's Place finished in second place with a 25-7 record. These two teams occupied the top two positions all year.
