TRENTON - The Department of Transportation will conduct a design/corridor public hearing concerning improvements to Route 47 between U.S. Route 9 in Middle Township and the intersection of Spruce Avenue with New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood. Task Force Slates Awareness Month

WILDWOOD - The Cape May County Task Force on Dnftfs and Alcohol Abuse, along with the officials of the 16 county municipalities and elected officials, have declared August "Drug and Alcohol Awareness Month " To recognize their commitment to saving lives, on Thursday at 1 p.m.. Mayor Vic Di Sylvester has offered the City Hall of Wildwood, where a joint proclamation will be available, similar to the ones already passed in the local communities, for all the mayors to sign Also invited are local represen tatives. and Congressman William Hughes, who has already forwarded a letter of support and a Member of Congress proclamation •
