Two-Day Hearing On Rte. 147 Redo

TRENTON - The Department of Transportation will conduct a design/corridor public hearing concerning improvements to Route 47 between U.S. Route 9 in Middle Township and the intersection of Spruce Avenue with New Jersey Avenue in North Wildwood. Cape May County The public hearing will tie held 2-5 p.m. and 6:30 pm Wednesday. Aug. 28. and will continue 1-8 p.m. Thursday. Aug. 29. in the auditorium of Middle -I Township Elementary School 3. Task Force Slates Awareness Month

WILDWOOD - The Cape May County Task Force on Dnftfs and Alcohol Abuse, along with the officials of the 16 county municipalities and elected officials, have declared August "Drug and Alcohol Awareness Month " To recognize their commitment to saving lives, on Thursday at 1 p.m.. Mayor Vic Di Sylvester has offered the City Hall of Wildwood, where a joint proclamation will be available, similar to the ones already passed in the local communities, for all the mayors to sign Also invited are local represen tatives. and Congressman William Hughes, who has already forwarded a letter of support and a Member of Congress proclamation •

"One person's involvement in this project, may make the difference in one child, in one person getting behind the wheel of a car after drink ing - your participation could save one life".
