The dinner meeting will ' be held at the Golden Eagle Motor Inn in Cape May. Assets Rise At Sturdy STONE HARBOR - Sturdy Savings and Loan Association is in the midst of a major growth period, i according to Senior Vice A President Richard Rodgers, with 1985 assets > growing almost as fast at the record-breaking 1984 increase. Sturdy's assets grew by $10.3 million during the "* first six months of the year. Rodgers said, reaching a ^ total of more than $119 1 million. "Sturdy Savings and Loan's assets grew a / record 24 percent in 1984," /■ Rodgers said. " At the rate ^ we're growing now, our \ assets for 1985 will increase at least 19 percent over the 1984 year end total." According to Rodgers. deposits at the savings and loan were up $9.7 million for the first six months of the year and new mortgages were up $16.3 million. Both last year's and this year's growth rate will be well above the state average of 13.9 percent, Rodgers said.
