Horse Show, Fair Slated

GOSHEN - The Sixth Annual Horse Show and Country Fair sponsored by the Burdette Tomlin -Memorial Hospital Auxiliary will be held Sept. 21 and 22 at the Rx Ranch. Rte. 47. Goshen The ranch is owned by Floyd (Bud) Langon. who. with Dana Farrow of Bridgeton. is a co-chair-person for the event. THE NEW location ofLeading Hornets Go 11-0 As the borough soccer league rolls along so do the league-leading Green Hornets. The Hornets have increased this undefeated record to 11-0. Their two victories for the week were sparked by the James brothers and Joe Sparta. The Gold Diggers went two and two for the week with losses 3-2 to the Green Hornets and a 6-3 loss to the Blue Waves. The Diggers also beat the Waves 4-1 with two goals from David Kohn. Shawn McCormach had three goals to give Gold a 3-0 victory over the Maroon Mariners T1IE BLUE Waves won their second game despite a rough season The Waves defeated the Gold Diggers 6-2 with three goals from Chris Reuf and two from Johnny Simpson. The Maroon Mariners broke even for a week by beating the Blue Waves 2-1 with two goals from striker Doug Seelickc. Triathlon Scheduled OCEAN VIEW - The Runaway Athietic Club will sponsor the Third Annual Ed Jerome Memorial Triathlon at Outdoor World Campground here 9 a.m. Sept. 15. The distances of the event are a 3/4-mile swim, a 25-mile bike ride, and a 6.2-mile run. The field will be limited to 150 participants with the minimum age requirement being 18.
