Murder Suspect ' Jumps ' OCEAN CITY - Lester A. Wilson, 37, jumped through a second-floor Police Department window Sunday while being questioned about the Aug. 6 death of a Biscayne Hotel chambermaid, 14. police reported Monday. "Wilson was arrested during an interview, based on evidence collected at the crime scene and an intensive background investigation conducted by Beisel, city Detective Frank Daly and county Investigator James Rypicki," according to the police press release. Concluded in 12 days by county and city lawmen, the probe was "closely supervised" by city Police Chief Dominick Longo and County Prosecutor John Corino, Beisel noted. Phelan Ends AFROTC Stint OCEAN CITY - Cadet Thomas S. Phelan Jr., son of Regina Phelan of 308 E Seaspray Rd., has completed U.S. Air Force ROTC field training encampment at Bergstrom Air Force Base. Texas. Field training, attending by cadets normally between their second and third year of college, gives an opportunity to evaluate each student's potential as an officer, according to an Air Force spokesman.
