AVALON - The eighth annual Avalon Run for Life will be held Saturday, Sept 7. to benefit local charities. In addition to the five-mile future, there will be a onemile fun run. LANCASTER. PA - Fourteen swimmers represented Wildwood Crest at the Middle Atlantic Junior Olympics here August 3 and 4. Five of those swimmers placed in the top 2. leading the team in top 20 honors was Marera llurmrr. with a sixth in the 15-18 age 50 meter free, seventh in the 100 meter fly. eighth in the 100 meter free and 20th in the 200 meter Individual Medley Fourteen-year-old Mike Nicely took 15th in the 50 meter free. 16th in the 100 meter free. 16th in the 100 meter breaststroke. 18th in both 100 meter fly and 200 meter free ANGELA Cotcllese. 14. Paul Callahan of South Seaville. fishing aboard the Doc ll. captured first and 18th, garnering more than $5,000 in cash and prizes. His winning fish weighed in at 15 lbs. 4 oz. JIM WRIGHT. Mike Ru nyon, and Dave Bowman of Stone Harbor, fishing from the Sea Nymph, placed fish in second and fifth and tied for third and fourth to collect $2,000 Fred Payne of Sea Isle City, fishing aboard the Reel Affair, took sixth place with a 14-lb. 7 oz. fish.
