'Top Hat' Last Film CAPE MAY - "Top Hat", the 1953 Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers musical, will be shown at 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, Sept. 2, in the air-conditioned Victorian Towers Auditorium, Ocean and Washington Streets. Irving Berlin's score for this most popular of all the Astaire-Rogers films includes "Cheek to Cheek", and "Isn't This a Lovely Day" as well as the title song. This is the final of the vintage film series sponsored by the Mid-Atlantic * Center for the Arts for the r summer. For further information call 884-5404. Mansions By Gaslight CAPE MAY - On the first three Wednesday evenings in September (Sept. 4, 11 and 18). Mansions by Gaslight Tours will open four of the city's Victorian landmarks to the general public. These tours will be held 8 p.m. to 10 p.m. and are sponsored by the MidAtlantic Center for the Arts (MAC). Tickets for the tours may be purchased at the Emlen Physick House, 1048 Washington St.. starting one half hour before tour time. Tour-goers intending to take the MAC trolley-bus to ail four houses should start at the Physick House no later than 8:15 p.m. Houses open on the Tour include: the Emlen Physick House, The Abbey. The Mainstay Inn, and The Wilbraham Mansion.
