gers' community service program courses at Cumberland County College." said Frank Phillips, coordinator of CCC's community service program. "Our goal is to enable area residents to complete their third year of studies for a Rutgers community service bachelor's degree without having to travel out of the county." PHILLIPS pointed out that commuting to class is a genuine hardship for people who work and have family responsibilities. He contends that conducting Rutgers' third-year courses at CCC will "bring earning a bachelor's degree within reach" of many such people. "The county will also benefit as its residents become more professinal at community service." Phillips said. "Area facilities will be able to offer improved services for their clients."
