Kilpatrick Rips Story On Traffic COURT HOUSE - Fret'holder James S. Kilpatrick Jr. charged last Thursday that he was "grossly misquoted" in this newspaper's report last week about traffic complaints in Dennisville and Ocean View. Kilpatrick said this paper reported that "I claimed there were no traffic' problems " Actually, the story said Kilpatrick referred to newspaper accounts of the complaints as "a red herring." Kilpatrick charged the newspaper "used the proh lem to make the State Police look like Keystone cops, and exploited it to include three municipalities" when "only one small area of Dennis ville" was affected Actually, the account reported that two dozen residents of Dennisville and Ocean View came to a freeholder meeting July 9 Following that, state police met with local officials from Dennis and Upper townships and Woodbine The officials concluded there was no police coverage problem Residents continue to complain.
