Ethel Buckley, 81, of Court House. Aug. 25. She was born in Philadelphia and lived in Collings Lakes before becoming a local resident two decades ago. P. Alfred Colasanti, 62, of Goshen, Aug. 25. He was a supervisor in a Brooklyn, N.Y. woodworking firm until moving here 13 years ago when he became a custodian and boiler stoker for the Middle Township school system. He was awarded the Bronze Star while serving in the Army during World War II. Benjamin M. Church Sr., 58. of Villas, of Aug. 23. A lifetime resident of the area, he was a storekeeper for the South Jersey Gas Company in Swainton for 29 years. He was a member of the Villas volunteer Fire Department and the Lower Township Rescue Squad. He was a Navy veteran of World War II. Pauline A. Cullen, 77, of Avalon, Aug. 23. A local resident for 19 years, she was a retired registered nurse. Paul C. Kauffman, 83, of West Cape May, Aug. 25. A retired civil engineer for the city of Trenton, he was past president of the Cape May County Shrine Club. Nostalgia For Seniors AVALON - The first meeting of the fall season of the Avalon Senior Citizen Organization will be held noon Tuesday. Sept. 10, at the Avalon Community Hall. The kick-off for the new year will feature School Days and Homecoming and members are invited to bring memorabilia from their school days. An "apple for the teacher" will be given to each person attending. Jack Warren will play dinner music on the piano during the luncheon. The program features a nostalgic look at long ago school days.

She was a graduate of Wildwood Catholic High School and a member of the Wildwood Civic Club. Frank J. Morrisey. 82, of Ocean City, Aug. 23. A stockbroker, he was a coowner of F.J. Morrisey Co. in Philadelphia. He was a member of the Bond Club of Philadelphia and the Investment Traders Association of Philadelphia. Charles Sandman, 64. Superior Court judge and former Congressman, of Erma Park, Aug. 26. He was the ranking Repbulican on the House Judiciary Committee in 1974 when he came to the defense of President Nixon during nationally televised impeachment proceedings. Joseph H. Davis, 69, of Villas, deputy mayor of Lower Township, Aug. 26. A former employee counselor with the Philadelphia Gas Works, he moved to this area 12 years ago from Aston, pa. He was past president of the Lower Township Taxpayers Association and a member of the Republican Presidential Task Force. He was a Navy veteran. Ann Dougherty, 87, of West Wildwood, Aug. 29. A local committeewoman and a trustee in the Cape May County Women's Republican Club, she was president and past president of the Womens Regular Republican Club. She was a local resident for 26 years. Richard L. Harris, 67, of North Wildwood, Aug. 25. A local resident for 15 years, he was an associate realtor with Wildwood Realty. An Army veteran of World War II, he was past commander of the Oaklyn Post 845 of Oaklyn, N.J. Dorothy H. Kelso, of Cape May, Aug. 27. A local resident for two decades, she was captain of crossing guards for Behsalem Township where she formerly lived. She was a member of the Villas Fishing Club and Cold Spring Presbyterian Church.
