Green Ck. Church Marks 40th Year
GREEN CREEK - The Green Community Church. Delsea Drive, will, observe its 40th anniversary this Sunday. Pastor Joseph Muggleworth will preach on the theme "The Pattern For the Church" at the 11 a.m. worship service. Special music will be provided by Mrs. Norman Krusun of Huntingdon Valley. Pa. An anniversary luncheon will follow the special anniversary worship service in Warner Hall.
At 7 p.m there will be a joint meeting with the Rio Grande Bible Church in Rio Grande for the showing of the sound-color film "Free Forever", the life story of Anthony Zeoli. SUNDAY SCHOOL will meet at 9:45 a.m. with classes for all ages. A nursery is available for all services. Prayer meeting convenes on the first and third Wednesdays of each month at 8 p.m. The "Needle People" x meet 10:30 a.m. every Thursday for quilting, sewing craft and Bible Study following lunch. Witnesses Set Slides The Woodbine Congregation of Jehovah's Witnesses announces the visit of Robert V. Sallee, Circuit Overseer. Tuesday, September 17. through Sunday. September 22. There will be special meetings at 7:30 p.m. on Tuesday and Thursday. Sallee and his wife, Helena, will join with the local Witnesses Wednesday through Sunday in making house-to-house visits in the area. Sunday at 9:30 a.m. Sallee will deliver a narrated slide presentation entitled "Bringing the Many to Righteousness in the Time of the End". It is intended to stimulate Christians to appreciate their unique position in what the Bible calls the last days'. The program is free and the public is invited.
Rev. Goslin Will Preach CAPE MAY - The Rev Thomas Goslin of Wildwood Crest, pastor emeritus of the Community Church of Madrid, will be the guest preacher at the 8:30 and 10:30 a.m. services of the First Presbyterian Church of Cape May Sunday His sermon topic will be "Liberation Theology Today". A talkback session to discuss the sermon with Rev Goslin will be held at 11:40 a m following a social period.
