ERMA — Lower Cape t May Regional High School j has been selected to par- ; ticipate in the New Jersey \ Audubon Society's high school Hawk Watch Pro- , ject. StudenLs involved in , the project will actively , monitor the fall migration , of raptors ( birds of prey > . Six hours of observation will take place daily with records of species sighted and total number of raptors noted. Data will be analyzed by students, with some researtch utilizing computer programs. I.CMRIIS WAS chosen because of the ability of the science department and administration to meet the rigoroas requirements of the project, the student in-
terest level, and the geographic location of the school in relation to the hawk migration. Instruction will include raptor identification, field research techniques, and development of individual research projects. The project will be directed by
Karl Toft, teacher of science of LCMR. The high school Hawk Watch project is being directed by the Cape May Bird Observatory, an ornithological research and education center of the New Jersey Audubon Society.

Hucklebridge-Peters Betrothal Announced GREEN CREEK — Local residents Mr and Mrs. Arthur Hucklebridge have announced the engagement of their daughter Donna Lyn Hucklebridge to Theodore Peters of Wildwood Crest. Miss Hucklebridge is a graduate of Middle Township High School and Vocational High School. She is a licensed cosmetologist. Peters is a graduate of Wildwood High School and is employed by the Cape May County Bridge Commission The wedding is scheduled to take place 3 p.m. Oct. 6 at Holy Spirit Lutheran Church, Villas.
