All are welcome and urged to bring lunches to Pavillion 5 at the park. There will be tables in the pavillion but blankets or folding chairs are advised for the performance. For more information, call Dave Kerman. 884-0913. or Robert Gunther, 399-0961 J New Form A Boon for Survivors COURT HOUSE - "Relief", according to Cape May County Surrogate W. Robert Hentges. is spelled "L-7". That is the new simple, one page affidavit of waiver form for use by surviving spouses in clearing jointly held or individually held assets ofa_y decedent. / Hentges. who has /been prodding the New ^Jersey Department /of the Treasury for months to develop a simply form, said that the forms should now be available! jft all\ banks and savings and loans in Cape May Sounty. ACCORDING TU\Hentges. when a husbanp or wife dies, the survivor can simply go to his or her respective bank or S&L. sign the L-7 form, and have the assets turned over to the survivor. Prior to the creation of this one-page affidavit, a > surviving spouse had to complete a four-page inheritance tax return, send it to Trenton and wait weeks, and in some cases even months to have the return audited by the Inheritance Tax Division. Hentges said. "I had suggested.'' Hentges said, that the new form be designated as an "0-85", for the year in which Governor Thomas Kean signed the lawrepealing the inheritance tax. However. I am indeed pleased that the form has been developed, and it certainly will make the lives of the surviving spouses a littie easier and less complicated." 1
