\ Closets are wonderful things. Every family needs more of them. Some closets, are Fibber McGee's, tell the whole family history, including everything personal and private, every time the door is opened. People who keep their closets neat are usually people I despise. Mother's closets reveals she has been too busy rearing the family to keep, but a new regime can be instigated by looking over the library's cosmetic or clothing books or maybe even exercise books, records and videotapes for a real overhaul. Heloise's Hints or the Sidetracked Sisters will lend many an idea or way of organizing your time so that there's some time left to spend on Mom. CLEANING'S cleaning, though, and if you run into a spot or spill that won't go away, check the reference department for The Stain Removal Handbook or a j hand volume entitled How to Clean Everything. Dad's closet will show hints of his hobbies — golf clubs, tennis rackets or a stamp collection. The library has books on the rules, the history, the players, and how to improve your game for every imaginable sport and for those quieter activities such as stamps, coins, etc., the library carries guides for the up-to-date value of your collection. IF YOU DON'T have enough closets, drag Dad over to the 680 section of the library to browse through the building section and drool over custom closets, storage areas, and cabinets for good old Dad to add to your home. You might want to check on reupholstering or refinishing that old easy chair of his (while he's building your shelves of course!) The kid's closets will usually reveal their life's history. Favorite toys, science fair projects, old Halloween costumes, one skate, a mostly unraveled baseball or a flat basketball, a T-shirt collection and a broken yo-yo. HOPEFULLY, they'll come to the library for a good book, a gripping mystery or a scary thriller in addition to information for the states report or science fair project. And the teenager's closet: well, I hadn't made the latest payment on my life insurance and decided not to risk my life and limb crossing the room to check it out. Teenagers as a whole are a major group of library users — homework assignments, records, tapes, the latest Stephen King thriller and all those assigned readings keep coming in. WHEN THE time comes for the college/trade school decision arrives, instead of Sgt. McCoach NCO Graduate WILDWOOD - Sgt. William McCoach. a 1979 graduate of Wildwood High School, has graduated from the Air Force noncommissioned officer leadership school at DavisMonthan Air Force Base. Ariz.
