PUBLIC NOTICE — — — OF — CHANGE IN LOWER TOWNSHIP RECYCLING SCHEDULE AND HOLIDAY TRASH PICK UP > Effective October 1, 1985 the Township of Lower will be implementing new schedules for holiday trash pick up and recycling. The new schedules are as follows: I RECYCLING I Effective October 1. 1985 recycling will only be picked up twice a month instead of the existing pick up four times a month. The Lower Township government is proposing this schedule change in order to reduce costs. Effective October 1. Lower Township will only pick up recyclables on the 1st and 3rd complete weeks of the month. A complete week is defined as a week in which all of the days of the week fall within that particular month. This distinction is made so that all citizens can easily identify the two weeks of the month that the Township will be collecting recyclables. On the calendar below, the respective weeks that recyclables will be collected during the months of October. November and December are indicated. * * Please retain this calendar for your future reference. On your normal trash pick up day during the weeks that are indicated, recyclable material should be placed at curbside with your regular trash. In order to assist citizens who do not wish to hold their recyclables for these two week intervals, four new drop off centers have been developed. These :sites are strategically located in the Township to give all citizens easy access. The four drop off points are as follows.
