Horse Show, Fair Benefit Hospital
SMITHVILLE - The fourth annual Shore Memorial Hospital Horse Show and Fair will be held Friday, Saturday, and Sunday at the Mattix Run Equestrian Center in Smithville. This year's event, sponsored jointly by the hospital auxiliary and employes, is even bigger than before, with pony rides, face painting, arts and crafts, gourmet goodies and refreshments featuring the show's famous chili. SATURDAY A country/western music jamboree will entertain throughout the day with music from a number of bands including "Just For Play." Sunday, Jerry Penacoli, news anchor on Channel 3, Eyewitness News and cohost of "Check It Out", a teen magazine program, will be signing autographs. This year marks Penacoli's

Tickets are available at the gate or by calling the hospital's Community Relations Office at 653-3670. Back in Somers Point the hospital's Nifty Thrifty Shop will be open from noon to 4 p.m. both Saturday and Sunday in honor of the horse show Weekend proceeds benefit Shore Memorial Hospital through the horse show and fair. A Casino Trip For Breakfast CAPE MAY - The Women's Community Club is sponsoring a bus trip to the Atlantis Casino Breakfast. Tuesday Oct I Bus will leave the Acme parking lot 8 a.m. Cape May N.J. and return from Atlantic City 3 p.m. For reservations call 884-2784 or 884-0813
