Gym Class Thursdays

CAPE MAY - The city will again offer a gymnastics program as part of the fall recreation schedule. This is a comprehensive program geared toward beginner and intermediate students and is offered to coeds 14 years and younger.

The class will be held at the Franklin Street Civic Center Thursday 4-6 p.m. starting Oct. 3. The first hour will be for students 5-7. Call the Department of Civic Affairs at 884-8411. ext. 20 or 27, for further information.

Most boats will not permit an angler to enter the pool after the boat stops to fish. Not all anglers enter pools, so be sure you know how many are in and how much the "pot" will be. Sometimes, the proceeds of the pot may not add up to the number of anglers on the boat That may well be because a lot of fares did not enter the pool. On our last party boat trip, at least seven of us chose not to enter. Remember, however big or small the pot. the mate usually did help make your day a success with his adept handling of the net or gaff and by the many little things mates do to help anglers aboard.
