bait. ..Clint Lutz of Wildwood Villas boated a 13-Ib. bluefish on a trip on the Midas Touch. STRATHMERE: Crabbing has continued to hold up in the Strathmere area. Candy Jankowski at Frank's Boats said Edith Gordon of Ellentown, Fla., caught a 7 1/2-lb. fluke in Corson's Inlet on minnows. Fluke being caught are bigger, but not as numerous. There are lots of sea bass and few kingfish. Some blowfish showed up, mostly as a by-catch for the kingfish anglers. Frank's has closed for the season. The Jankowskis expressed thanks to all their customers and will see them in the spring. CAPE MAY: Capt. Bob Schumann of the Sea Star II said Delaware Bay continues to produce lots of weakfish and fluke. He said the fish should remain in the bay for quite some time, with good fishing exi pected at least through October. Most anglers are boating weakfish-fluke cat- ) ches in the double figures I on the Sea Star II six-hour J trips and on the all-day f| trips on the Miss Cape J May. Weaks go one to six pounds, with fluke in the 1 1/2 to three-pound class. Best action continues to be in Delaware Bay. ALL DAY TRIPS on the Happy Days are producing good catches of fluke. Pool winners included Mike Moldovan of Willamstown, and Alan Bowan of Court House. An offshore charter for the Mac Hella group of Somerdale, N.J., produced a 190-lb. mako which won the pool for the day. The group also boated four yellofin tuna; over 50 lb. each; a 180 lb. blue shark, a 100 lb. blue shark and a 5>£ ft. swordfish. The Family Rod and Gun Club charter for Bucks County, Pa., and the Barracuda Fishing Club of Philadelphia caught good numbers of fluke. Bill Maloney of Philadelphia was the pool winner of the Barracuda Fishing Club charter. He is the newest member of the fishing club. SEA ISLE CITY: Capt. Neill Bobbins, of the Capt. Robbins. said sea bass catches continue good. Art Drain of Philadelphia boated 70 and Jack Butler, also of Philadelphia, caught 62. The Capt. Robbins sails daily at 8 a.m. and Friday and Saturday nights at 7 p.m. for blues. Fares are boating up to 25 blues per trip.

LL Banquet Set Nov. 1 CAPE MAY - The Greater Cape May Little League Banquet will be held 6 p.m. Friday, Nov. 1, Cape May Convention Hall on the Boardwalk.
