A World War II veteran, he was an Eagle Scout and a former scoutmaster in Philadelphia. Bradd Cramer, of Petersburg. 1 month old. Sept. 22. He was born in Somers Point. Joseph Gangi. 7Q, of Ocean City, Sept. 24. A retired equipment operator for the city of Ocean City, he was an area resident for 29 years. He was an Armyveteran of World War II and was a member of the Ferguson-Foglio Post 6650 VFW and the Morgan Rinck Post No. 137 American Legion. Wilbur "Bill" lleckman, of Ocean City. Sept. 21. He was a retired vice president of the Heritage Bank in Millville. He was an Army veteran of World War II and a member of the American Legion NabbLeslie Post 82 of Millville and the Wildwood Country Club. Arthur H.P. Hipp, 94, of Ocean City, Sept. 27. A retired brewmaster for Schmidt's Brewery of Philadelphia, he became a local resident 10 years ago. He was a member of the Master Brewers Association of the Americas. Wilhelmina Lowther, 91, of Stone Harbor, Sept. 26. Formerly of Yeadon, Pa., she was a local resident for 33 years. She was a member of Our Saviour Lutheran Church. Lois McAllister, 72, of Avalon, Sept. 26. She was a former teacher at the Miss Sayward School in Philadelphia and the Bridgeton school system, and served as a librarians with the Avalon school sys em. She belonged to the Daughters of the American Revolution and the Burdette Tomlin Ladies Auxiliary. Mae Anita Mehroff, 77, of Court House. Sept. 28. She summered in the area for many years before becoming a year round resident 24
years ago. She served on \ the Cape May County 4-H i Foundation. She was a member of the Eastern Star and the Burdette Tomlin Memorial Hospital Auxiliary. Helen A. Mills. 89. of Court House. A retired security guard for the Fiedelity Bank in Philadelphia, he was a local resident for 35 years. Adelaide E. Zetterberg, 90, of Cape May, Sept. 23. Formerly of Collingswood where she was a bookkeeper for the Singer Sew ing Machine Co.. she became a local resident a decade ago. She was a member of the Cape May Lutheran Church and the Sunshine Club.
Utility Sets Courtesy Centers PLEASANTVILLE - As part of a local outreach, effort, Atlantic Electric plans to open a test Customer Courtesy Center in Cape May County within a few months. The first test out reach office was opened in Williamstown last week The centers are designed to furnish personal attention to customers, with such services as regular and overdue bill payments and new electric service connections. They will also provide opportunity to discuss and resolve billings and credit problems According to Customer Service Coordinator Catherine Marchese, the utility is offering the old-fashioned neighborhood service because of requests from customers and because new technology makes it feasible.
